Audi Tyres – AO Approved and Model-Specific Options

Audi vehicles are engineered for balanced handling, controlled braking and stable motorway performance. Selecting the correct tyre specification helps maintain that driving feel.

Many Audi models are factory-fitted with tyres marked AO, which indicates the tyre has been developed and approved specifically for Audi. Like BMW’s star marking, AO approval means the tyre has been tuned to suit Audi suspension geometry, weight distribution and performance standards.

Premium tyres commonly fitted to Audi vehicles include the Michelin Pilot Sport 5, Continental PremiumContact 7, and Pirelli P Zero, depending on the model and wheel size. SUVs within the Audi range, such as Q models, require tyres with the correct load rating to support vehicle weight and stability.

It is important to match tyre size, speed rating and manufacturer approval where required. Some Audi models are also fitted with run flat tyres, depending on specification.

At Modern Tyres, we supply and professionally fit Audi tyres in Ireland, ensuring correct sizing, AO-approved options where required and precise wheel balancing.
